Managed IT Services

Managed IT services for Michigan businesses that cannot afford to guess

Monitoring, patching, help desk, and strategy for one flat monthly rate. You reach a senior technician who knows your environment, not a queue that knows your ticket number.

Managed IT is a staffing decision, not a software purchase

Most offices under a hundred people cannot justify a full internal IT department, and a single overloaded generalist becomes a single point of failure the moment they take vacation. Managed IT replaces that gamble with a team, a documented environment, and a predictable monthly number.

What separates providers is not the tools. Everyone has a remote monitoring agent. The difference is whether anyone acts on what it reports, whether problems get root-caused or just closed, and whether you can get a competent human on the phone when it counts. Our model is built around all three.

We also do the unglamorous work most providers skip: keeping an accurate asset inventory, tracking warranty and end-of-support dates, maintaining a license register, and updating documentation when something changes. That is what makes the fifth year of a relationship better than the first instead of worse.

You probably need this if

  • You have one IT person and no coverage when they are out
  • Problems keep recurring and nobody has found the cause
  • You cannot produce a current list of your own devices or software licenses
  • IT spending arrives as surprises rather than a plan
  • Your current provider is reactive and you are the one noticing problems first
  • You are growing and the informal approach has stopped scaling

Deliverables

What you actually get, in writing

Not a vague promise of support. Specific artifacts you can point at, hand to an auditor, or take with you if you ever leave.

Living documentation

Network diagram, asset inventory, license register, and recovery runbook, kept current and yours to take if you ever leave.

Quarterly technology roadmap

Hardware age, license renewals, and end-of-support dates mapped against your budget and busy season so nothing lands during tax week or a full patient schedule.

Response time commitments

Written targets by severity, reported on monthly. You can see whether we are actually hitting them instead of taking our word for it.

Named senior technician

A specific person who knows your environment, plus a documented backup so a vacation is not an outage.

Standardized configuration baseline

Every workstation built from the same hardened image, so a replacement machine takes an hour instead of a day.

Onboarding and offboarding runbooks

New hires ready on day one. Departing employees fully deprovisioned the same day, which is a security control most offices fail at.

Questions

Questions about this service

Is help desk really unlimited?

Yes, for support of the systems we manage. There is no ticket allowance and no meter running while you decide whether an issue is worth calling about. What sits outside the flat rate is project work: migrations, cabling installs, office moves, and new hardware. Those are quoted in advance.

How quickly do you respond?

Standard requests get a live human within one business hour during our coverage window, which is Monday to Friday, 9:00a to 5:00p ET. Anything that stops work, such as a practice unable to reach charts or a firm unable to file, jumps the queue immediately.

After-hours support and 24/7 priority incident response are included with the Elite plan. Clients on other plans can reach us outside business hours for a genuine emergency at our after-hours rate.

Will you work with our line-of-business software vendor?

Yes, and we prefer to own that relationship. We coordinate directly with practice management, imaging, tax, and case management vendors so you are not stuck relaying technical messages between two companies who both say it is the other one's problem.

Can you support our existing on-prem server, or will you push us to the cloud?

We support what you have. We will tell you honestly when a workload is cheaper and safer in the cloud, and we will also tell you when it is not, which is more often than cloud vendors would like. Imaging systems and some practice management platforms have real reasons to stay local. The recommendation follows your situation, not our margin.

What happens in the first 30 days?

Week one is documentation and agent deployment. Week two is remediation of critical security findings. Weeks three and four cover standardization, backup verification with an actual test restore, and your first roadmap session. You will notice the difference inside a month.

Want to know where you stand right now?

The assessment documents your environment, scores it against a modern baseline, and hands you a written report you keep either way.

No pressure, no obligation. If we are not the right fit we will tell you and point you somewhere better.
