Accessibility Statement
What we have done, what we know is not perfect, and how to tell us when something does not work.

Our approach
We want this site to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control. We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
We are not claiming full conformance. Claiming a standard you have not been audited against is easy and meaningless, so instead here is specifically what we have done and what we know is still imperfect.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single, correctly ordered heading structure on every page
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element
- Every image carries descriptive alternative text
- Full keyboard operability, including the mobile navigation menu
- Visible focus indicators that are not suppressed
- Text and interface colours checked for contrast against the background
- Touch targets sized to meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum on phones and tablets
- Layout tested down to 320 pixels wide with no horizontal scrolling or clipped content
- Animation reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion
- Form fields with real labels, not placeholder text standing in for labels
Known limitations
- Our booking calendar and contact forms are embedded from a third-party provider. We do not control their markup, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility. If one of them blocks you, contact us directly and we will complete the request with you by phone or email.
- Our downloadable PDFs are generated documents. They are text-based and selectable rather than scanned images, but they have not been formally tagged for screen readers. If you need one in an accessible format, ask and we will provide it.
Tell us if something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, we want to know. It is useful but not necessary to tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use.
We will acknowledge your message within one business day and tell you honestly whether we can fix it, and when. If the fix will take time, we will give you another way to get what you needed in the meantime.
